The Oliva Serie V Melanio Robusto is the crown jewel of Oliva’s celebrated portfolio. Crafted to honor Melanio Oliva, a tobacco pioneer from the 19th century, this exceptional cigar is the embodiment of rich heritage, bold flavor, and expert construction.
Handmade in Nicaragua, the cigar is cloaked in an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper—silky, oily, and elegant—paired with Nicaraguan binder and long-fillers from the Jalapa region. The result is a complex, medium-to-full-bodied profile with harmonious notes of dark chocolate, aged wood, coffee bean, and a gentle crescendo of sweet spice.
Box-pressed to perfection, the Melanio Robusto offers a slow, razor-sharp burn and smooth draw, delivering a sophisticated experience that develops gracefully with each third. Garnering a 96 rating and a place in Cigar Aficionado’s Top 25, this is a must-have for the true connoisseur.
